How strict is Princess dress code?
You should make sure you have a wide array of clothing packed away in your suitcase, as cruises may require everything from a casual swimsuit to a formal tuxedo. Princess Cruises is smart casual, so pack clothing that adheres to that guideline. On the informal side of things, both men and women may want to pack away breezy shirts, comfortable sandals and shorts for the day, while they can opt for a sweatshirt or windbreaker to help them stay warm if temperatures drop. In addition, bringing along a rain jacket, an umbrella and galoshes may be a good idea if rainy weather interrupts any scheduled shore excursions. For more formal settings, men should bring a dinner jacket, slacks, or a dark suit and a nice pair of shoes, while women may want to bring an evening gown, cocktail dress, or elegant pant suit. When packing, bring wrinkle-free items or try rolling your clothes. Folding clothes can create creases, and cruise cabins are not equipped with irons (although they can be found in the ship’s laundry rooms).

Power strips are fine as long as they do not have any form of sUrge protection. If they do, they stand a very good chance of being confiscated if found. Put more bluntly: DON’T use a surge protector.
Ship’s electrical systems cannot handle a sudden disruption in power flow because of how they are wired, and how surge protectors are manufacture to work.
Your home electricity has power coming through one side of the recepticle, and then it returns via a neutral wire. The surge protector only disrupts the flow of the live side.
Not quite accurate regarding how AC current flows in wiring systems, but never mind. The surge protectorwilldisrupt current flow on both legs of the power strip, thecircuit breakeronly interrupts one leg (for US type consumer power strips)(this is a problem with the USCG Safety Notice about surge protectors on ships, in that it combines a failure of a surge protectoranda single leg circuit breaker into explaining why surge protectors are dangerous).
