What Clothes To Wear On A Caribbean Cruise?

On a Caribbean cruise ship, passengers are expected to wear up to three outfits per day from the port to the pool to dinner. The most popular clothing is cruise casual, with passengers free to wear whatever they want with an emphasis on comfort. The only exception is at dinner when a smart outfit is needed.

There are several outfit ideas for daytime and nighttime on a Caribbean cruise, including swimsuits, rashguard attire, beach and pool attire, casual clothing, sweater scarves or pashminas, sundresses, dresses, shorts or skirts, capri pants or long pants, khakis, jeans, and casual shirts made of natural fibers like cotton or linen.

Women’s cruise attire includes smart casual cruise wear, smart casual cruise wear, and vacation outfits for women. A jacket (lightweight) and at least a pair of jeans or pants are essential for getting on the ship. T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, sundresses, and skirts are all suitable for lunch in the Oceanview Cafe.

On a cruise, the dress code is very casual, even in the Main Dining Room. For example, a dress or jumpsuit can be worn every night, and chic sunglasses can be added for relaxing beach days. For a breezy beach day, bring a swimsuit, chic sunglasses, a breezy cover-up, and sandals.
