Princess Cruises, the world’s leading international premium cruise line, has announced an updated restart timing for its Diamond Princess and Island Princess ships. The Island Princess will now return to Princess Cruises, while the Diamond Princess will return to service in Japan for the first time since the pandemic began on March 15, with a nine-day roundtrip cruise out of Tokyo. The Diamond Princess was last refurbished in 2014 and is still gleaming with its three-deck-high Piazza atrium, featuring a subtly Asian-influenced chrome sculpture.
The Diamond Princess is a passenger ship built in 2004 and currently sailing under the flag of the United Kingdom (UK). It is currently sailing in Japan and Singapore, departing through March 3. The Coral Princess will sail a 33-day Southeast Asia, Hawaii, and Pacific Crossing cruise from Singapore to Los Angeles in October 2024, while the Diamond Princess will sail in Japan through August 2024 on round-trips to 35 destinations in three countries on 31 unique itineraries.
The Diamond Princess is a treasure trove of exceptional delights waiting to be discovered, with a wide selection of staterooms accommodating up to four guests and substantial savings on your third and fourth voyage. The ship’s itinerary includes 16-night voyages to the Mexican Riviera, California Coast, and Hawaiian Islands, as well as a 33-day Southeast Asia, Hawaii, and Pacific Crossing cruise from Singapore to Los Angeles in October 2024.
