A Singapore entry visa is a pre-entry permission for a valid visa holder to travel to and seek entry into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the ICA officers at the point of entry. Indian citizens and passport holders need a visa to enter Singapore, and all travelers must complete an SG Arrival Card before clearing immigration. Visitors holding ordinary Indian passports are required to apply for a Singapore entry visa prior to their visit to Singapore.
For tourists or business visits to Singapore, it is advisable to apply for an entry visa within 30 days prior to travelling to Singapore. However, passport holders in India do not need a visa to enter Singapore. An arrival card is not a visa and does not grant permission to enter any country. If you hold a travel document issued by one of the countries or places listed below, you will require a valid Singapore entry visa to travel to and seek entry.
The visa on arrival option in Singapore does not apply to Indian citizens, so Indian passport holders need a previously approved visa to visit the country. Visa requirements for traveling to Singapore are determined by factors such as your nationality, duration of stay, and purpose of visit.
In summary, all foreigners, except citizens of Nepal and Bhutan, need a valid visa to enter Singapore, and those holding a travel document from a visa-required country or region must apply for a visa.
