18. Maintain primary pressure on your dominant front foot.

19. Bend your knees and kick away your drop ski, similar to pushing a scooter.

20. Stand up and puff out your chest for a strong stance.

21. Execute a short loop back to the starting point, preferably close to shore, where you can drop the second ski.

22. Gently lower your right foot down onto the rear of your ski, immediately behind your front foot.

23. Always do your ski drop outside the wake, as the water is calmer and more consistent outside of the boat wash.

24. Start with the handle held down near the front of your boot to allow the ski to come up higher in the water.

25. One good way to learn is to get up on two skis and then drop one.

26. Start by resting in the water with your arms extended in front of you, holding onto the tow rope with your knuckles up.
