How To Become A Member Of Conicut Yacht Club?

The Yacht Club of Connecticut (CYC) is a private membership organization that offers a wide range of facilities and activities. Members are not defined by their education or industry, but rather by their character. To become a member, applicants must be recommended by current club members and complete an application. Membership in a yacht club may require an application process, annual dues, and an initiation fee. Benefits of joining a yacht club include access to boats, sailing lessons, and a sense of commitment to preserving a certain ethic on land and water, as well as respecting naval etiquette and environmental preservation.

To join CYC, applicants must meet certain requirements, such as a minimum age, a background check, and a recommendation from an existing member. Some clubs may also have an initiation fee. Juniors can enjoy recreational and competitive sailing and tennis programs and instruction, while members can also join social events.

The Conanicut Yacht Club is a member-only organization with space available for private events. It is located directly on Narragansett and has a private social club with restaurant, racquet sports facilities, and sailingboating activities. The Jamestown Yacht Club (JYC) is a family-oriented yacht club centered around the Conanicut Marina.

Becoming a member of Conanicut Yacht Club comes with numerous benefits, including access to world-class facilities and sailing programs. Classes start at 11:00 off @ConanicutYachtClub, with each class starting about 6 minutes apart. Registration closes one week out, so be sure to sign up.

In October 1892, the Conanicut Yacht Club was issued a Certificate of Incorporation and a covered pier was erected on land purchased by the club. The club offers tennis, racing, cruising, powerboat instruction, sailing, racquets, dining, summer lunch, kayak rentals, and a full menu of fine dining with spectacular waterfront views, fresh seafood, and friendly service.
