Carnival Cruise Lines has a baggage policy that allows passengers to bring one carry-on bag and one personal item onboard, with the carry-on bag not exceeding 24 inches long, 16 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. Personal items can include purses, briefcases, or small backpacks. Checked bags can be brought up to two per person.
Carnival recognizes that some states have restrictions on the number of bags allowed on cruises. For a 3-5 night cruise, passengers should bring one bag per person, and two bags per person for cruises lasting 6 days or longer. Each bag must adhere to size and weight requirements. Alcohol brought onboard must be in unopened, sealed bottles and limited to one bottle of wine or champagne per adult.
Carnival also recommends guests bring two pieces of luggage per person, each weighing no more than 50 pounds. Carry-on bags are allowed, but alcohol must be in unopened, sealed bottles and limited to one bottle of wine or champagne per adult. On 7-day and longer cruises, there is a limit of one bottle of hard liquor per stateroom.
Guests who use BIPAP, CPAP, Concentrator, and Nebulizers onboard must bring their own equipment for personal use. There is no strict limit on the number of bags passengers can bring, but each bag should weigh less than 50 pounds.
For cruises of 3-5 days duration, passengers should limit their luggage to one bag per person and two bags per person for cruises lasting 6 days or longer. All checked and carry-on luggage must fit under the bed, as there is limited storage in the cabin.
