Carnival cruise ships are designed with built-in hangers that easily clip onto the closet rod, preventing breakage and ensuring clothes remain secure throughout your voyage. Single strollers are available on all cruise ships, and some even have double strollers available for rent. To save energy and let your little ones ride in style, always bring wire hangers that have the paper over them. All cruise cabins will have a closet with hangers available to use, even Carnival’s cheapest and smallest cabins.
Some cruise lines charge for room service, while others don’t. Most lines provide one type of room service for free: breakfast. On most ships, you can fill out your breakfast order. Packing the right clothing for your Carnival cruise ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience while looking your best. Remember to check the specific dress codes for Carnival Cruise Lines.
Carnival cruise lines have packing guidelines that prohibit extension cords with surge protector on board. However, they supply hangers for clothes on the ship, and if you need more, ask your room steward. Stateroom attendants are happy to bring hangers for guests, but it is important to be safe for guests with disabilities. A safe is provided in every stateroom for convenience and security.
Carnival cruise ships have hangers available for guests to use, but most cruise lines only include a few clothes hangers in each room. For simplicity, include a few wire hangers in your packing and pop them into your wardrobe to maximize space and feel more at home. A hanging jewelry bag is also recommended.
Carnival cruise lines provide around eight coat hangers in your cabin, which is barely enough for one person traveling for two weeks, never mind a family of four. Each cruise line has its own version of a daily newspaper, which provides details of everything happening on board. Cruise cabins typically come equipped with several hangers in the closet, and if you need more, your room steward can provide additional hangers upon request. No need to pack them yourself.

Can I bring a 12 pack of beer on Carnival?
Bringing Liquor and Beverages On Board – Embarkation A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12-ounces/354-ml each or less, per person.
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has completed registration using Online Check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to present the required travel documents at the time of embarkation. Guests should check with their travel agent and/or government authority to determine the travel documents necessary for each port of call. Any guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of proper travel documentation.
Except where it is a mandatory requirement, Carnival highly recommends that all guests travel with a passport book. The passport book must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. This will enhance the debarkation experience as delays may be expected upon return to the United States for those without one. Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the United States to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends, due to an emergency, to fly back to the United States without significant delays and complications.
For cruises that begin and end in the same U.S port, the following WHTI-compliant documents are acceptable for cruise travel. Please note that if the cruise visits Colombia or Greenland, a passport book(valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel) is required. A passport card with the same validity is also acceptable for cruises to Colombia.

Can you bring hangers for your clothes on the ship? There’s no need to. They are in the closets and if needed, your cabin steward will bring more.
Do they sell clothes on a cruise ship?
Most cruise ships have shops onboard, where you can purchase clothing, shoes (typically sandals and flip flops) or accessories you forgot to bring. The options are limited, so if you’re picky, wait until you’re in port to shop around.
Can you bring hanging clothes on a cruise?
Each guest is permitted to carry a reasonable amount of personal property (including luggage) aboard the vessel; however, for your comfort and convenience, it is recommended that you limit the number of pieces you take. Each guest has the option to carry their luggage on board or check-in luggage prior to boarding. Luggage may include suitcases, trunks, valises, satchels, bags, hangers containing clothing, toiletries and similar items. Here are somerecommendations for packingonly cruise essentials.
We recommend that guests personally carry any boarding documentation such as passports, visas, citizenship documents and family legal documents plus all medications. To minimize the potential for diversion or loss of medications, we advise that all medications remain in their original, labeled prescription containers. It is also advisable to pack at least three days of extra medication in the event of an unexpected change in the itinerary of the voyage. It is also a good idea for guests to pack a small carry-on bag with a change of clothes, and bathing suit. That way they don’t have to wait for their checked bags to arrive in their stateroom.
Any carry-on luggage must be able to fit through the x-ray screening machines. These machines vary in size from port to port, however generally they are similar to those found at airport security check points. Guests wishing to carry their luggage with them during boarding should note that their stateroom may not be immediately available to store their luggage.

Can you get condoms on a cruise ship?
11. Can I request different types or brands of condoms on a cruise ship?. While cruise ships typically provide a standard type and brand of condoms, it may be possible to request specific types or brands through the onboard medical center or by reaching out to the ship’s staff. However, availability may vary.
12. Are condoms on cruise ships provided in various sizes?. To cater to different preferences, some cruise lines may offer condoms in various sizes. However, it is important to note that the availability of different sizes might differ across cruise ships, so it is recommended to consult with the specific cruise line for accurate information.
By addressing these frequently asked questions, it becomes clear that the provision of condoms on cruises varies depending on the cruise line’s policies. Safety and health are paramount, and practicing safe sex is the responsibility of each individual regardless of the amenities provided by the cruise line.
Do cruise ships provide coat hangers?
Coat Hangers. Most cruise lines provide around eight coat hangers in your cabin, barely enough for one person travelling for two weeks, never mind a family of four! Wire coat hangers take up very little room in your case and you’ll be grateful of the extra hanging space once you remember that irons aren’t allowed on board.
Wrinkle Release Spray. Speaking of irons, wrinkle release spray is another must-pack product for many cruisers. You can roll, fold inside-out and steam things in the bathroom all you like, but this wonder spray will take care of creases with far less effort.
Hanging Wardrobe Organiser. A hanging wardrobe organiser is a staple for the seasoned cruiser. When you’re trying to maximise space and keep your stateroom looking ship-shape for the duration of your time aboard, this extra storage is an absolute must. Opt for an over-door version and hang in the bathroom (careful not to damage the door!) or choose Velcro hooks that slip around the rail in the wardrobe.
Can I bring a refillable water bottle on a Carnival cruise?
Free Lemonade & Iced Tea (and water too!) – One of the things I remember wondering before my first cruise was if I there was any complimentary beverages other than water. The good news is there is! Lemonade and Iced Tea flow freely on the Lido Deck and in the dining rooms. If you’re feeling extra fancy you can mix both the lemonade and iced tea to make an Arnold Palmer (Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this!). Of course, water is available too— and it’s perfectly safe to drink. Bring a refillable water bottle to save on trips to the Lido Deck.
Lunch in the dining room – Most cruisers rush to the Lido Deck for a buffet lunch on embarkation day, but a little known fact is the dining room is also open during lunchtime. When we choose this option, there is usually only a handful of guests dining with us. The best part? Never having to wait for a table.
TheChef’s Table – On select cruise ships there is an option for dinner at The Chef’s Table. Now, I haven’t had the chance to attend this VIP experience, but it’s on my list for a future cruise. The dinner starts with a tour of the galley followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and then a multi-course feast, prepared by a master chef. The menu is also unique to the experience. I think this would make a fantastic evening to celebrate a special occasion.

Is it OK to wear jeans on a cruise?
Casual. To most of us Brits, casual means one thing and one thing only– jeans! The good news is that denim in the form of jeans, jackets, shorts and skirts is generally a perfectly acceptable daytime casual cruise look, often combined with a T-shirt but check before you go for lunch – those designer jeans may cut it for a promenade on deck but some lines don’t allow jeans in their restaurants, however expensive they might have been!
Fitness freaks can feel free to lounge around in lycra during the day, and of course, no cruise suitcase is packed until it contains at least two swimsuits and cover-ups. Bear in mind swimwear and flip flops are almost always a big no-no at mealtimes unless you’re having a relaxed poolside snack.
Casual can be harder to get right for an evening look as it’s all about looking as if you haven’t tried too hard, but in general, the rule is to ditch the denim and t-shirts in favour of casual shirts and trousers/smart shorts for men and laid back skirts, sundresses and ‘dressy’ tops for ladies.
