Florida’s Brightline train now connects Miami and Orlando, offering a new alternative for cruisers to reach their embarkation ports in the Sunshine State. Starting July 1st, cruisers can take the Brightline train to the cruise ports near stations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. Cruise Ports near Brightline stations include Port Miami, Port Everglades, and Port of Palm Beach.
Cruisers sailing from Port Canaveral can connect to the cruise at MiamiCentral station, which doesn’t offer a direct route to the port itself. If you fly into Miami or live locally, you can skip the train and catch a ride or transfer directly. Brightline services are designed to take you from train to cruise ship or vice versa with zero hassle. To get to the cruise, opt for Brightline services, secure your transit arrangements in advance, and set the stage for your journey.
Port of Miami parking is now available for 28 dollars per day, 84 for a weekend cruise, or 196 for a 7-night sailing. Brightline offers a train to cruise port package, allowing passengers to drive their car to the Brightline parking lot in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The line also offers a non-stop route between Miami and Orlando, with a total travel time of 2 hours and 59 minutes.
In summary, Brightline is a convenient link between Florida’s major cities and cruise ports, providing a smooth ride from station to vacation.
