I am a school teacher who was bitten by the travel bug many decades ago. My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.

  • “Please don’t take my life from me…” While you’re pleading for your life to be preserved and asking to be able to roam free, you took someone else’s life from them. Killing someone’s child. Having zero remorse until you got caught. You don’t want your life taken, but you are fully willing to take someone else’s.

  • Props to the uncle who turned in his nephew. So often the family doesn’t see the wrong their loved ones have done, like his other family members did, saying they’re “good people”. If he was a good person, he wouldn’t have robbed and murdered a man. “You can’t go around killing people” is the perfect thing to say. If only more people understood how basic the justice system is like this man did. Major respect for him.

  • The Uncle of Seandell Jackson is one amazing man! I really admire what he did. It wouldn’t be an easy thing to hand over a nephew to the police. He did an incredibly brave thing. Especially when he did end up being threatened. It was the right thing to do but that didn’t make it the easy thing to do. That’s when a person’s character is tested and their true integrity comes out. Kudos to you, Uncle! That man deserves recognition and respect.

  • I have news for Martice Fuller…we never stop crying for our deceased children. I am blessed that my son wasn’t murdered, but my tears still flow freely. I have said many times that I did not know our bodies could shed so many tears. I pray for all of these families. Their lives are forever altered.

  • Judge: I hereby sentence you to 365,192 life sentences. Defendent: (Looks up and to the left). 😱😱😱 OH!!! MY!!! GODDDDDD!!!!! I’m shocked!! SHOCKED!!!!!! I don’t know how I can even go ONNNNNNN!!!!!!!!! I mean, did you SEE THAT?????? He…he looked UP!!!! And then, dear God, and then…he looked to the RIGHT!!!! OMG, how will I ever unsee THAT??

  • My wife’s best friend (and her husband) work in the courts, as a clerk and court officer. I don’t know how they get through their days listening to the garbage of society trying to defend their crimes. Rationally, I understand the lack of accountability….they’d do anything to stay out of prison. But when the killers are completely remorseless, and the families of the convicted lash out at the victims, I have no capacity to understand that. Thanks to all the court officers, clerks, and judges, who have to spend their days in these sewers.

  • 9 times out of 10, monsters are raised to be monsters by the emotional neglect their parents force them to endure, psychological abuse, and sometimes (not always) severe abuse. When you tell infants/toddlers/young children and teens “stop crying or I’m gonna really give you something to cry about” or when they start crying and you completely ignore them, or you act as if they’re invisible and never console them, or maybe instead you make them go to their room and don’t allow them to come out until they’re no longer crying…you are damaging that child’s emotional development and failing to activate their empathy centers so that they their brain can learn to feel empathy for others. If your child is f’ed up, go look long and hard in the mirror…and start asking yourself how you failed that child as a parent because less than 5% of the global population are BORN psychopaths and the vast majority of sociopaths are made.

  • Before he died, my daughter’s murderer (her boyfriend) posted a Facebook statement that whatever happened to him in the future, he would not go to jail. I found this out through a friend of my daughter’s. He had a family member serving time in jail. He lived a double life. She suffered domestic violence at his hands. She was going to, we believe, move on with her life without him as she had been accepted into the University of Washington. We believe he knew he was going to lose his “sugar mama”. He killed her, and three others, before the cops unloaded their weapons into him as he had been shot and was ready to shoot the cops. A friend started a petition to try and get the 8 cops fired. She claimed he had no guns (he had two guns and we found a samari sword on the dining room table when we were allowed to go into the apartment and collect her things). Only 14 people signed the petition. He knew he would either go to jail for life or suffer the death penalty, so he chose the coward’s way out.

  • I‘m a nurse and we had a 15 year old girl coming to our ER because she had been injured from a knife.. she told everyone that somebody broke into her home and killed her mother and attacked her. We did the best to care for hear and everyone was so shocked and sad for her .. one day later she and her boyfriend got arrested, because THEY killed her mother .. we couldn’t believe it. Only because, her mother didn’t like her boyfriend and tried to cut contact between them.. it was in Germany btw

  • I feel very sorry for Eric’s granddad, who seems to be Trinidadian. Eric was a caregiver for his grandparents, it appears, and they don’t have that support. My grandfather was a mentor to his grandchildren and I still miss him. A prison official for 40 years, grandfather once told me prison is for rehabilitation.

  • What outrages me most is when family members of these criminals stand up there and say “he/she is not a bad person, not a monster” not because they believe that but because they know it reflects badly on them, that they raised such an awful human-being. Then when these criminals are sentenced to life, they have the audacity to act outraged that they are being punished too harshly. Upon hearing this, Their families will wail and moan in the courtroom as if the punishment was undeserved, with no thought to their behavior, OR to the fact that on the opposite side of the courtroom, the victims loved-ones have to see/listen to their ridiculous display of behavior!! Its disgusting and shameful!

  • As someone who worked many years in the courts with juvenile offenders I have seen similarities in the sentencing and in all of these my only regret was that the parents weren’t sent up too. Almost in every case the horrible in affective so called parents were as criminal as the offenders that they raised.

  • the fact that all these creatures ( no, they’re not human ) had the audacity to say they’re ” sorry ” in this emotionless and mechanic manner, after having committed such crimes disgusts me. the dude who killed his great grandmother was what shocked me the most, honestly. they all deserve to stay in prison forever and never see the light of day again.

  • I’m sure that uncle was NOT happy with how his sister raised her son, and yet his sister said of her son “he’s NOT a monster!” Even though her son was sneering at the victim’s family. That woman definitely FAILED to raise her son right, probably because she ALSO doesn’t care about other people, either. 😢

  • 10:28 “If you thought Bustamante’s crimes were reprehensible, brace yourself for her shocking conduct during the proceedings” Proceeds to just say what happened instead of playing the courtroom audio, plus she apologized and expressed remorse like one would expect in the most un-shocking way Why do these articles suck

  • I know this is total speculation, but as soon as that kid started talking about knowing that he hasn’t shown much emotion and that he himself doesn’t understand why that is, then seemingly breaking down after that just seems like he’s been dealing with either not having emotions or extremely diminished ones for a while now. I’m not a doctor, so I don’t know what that’s called, but it just seemed like the kid is aware that something is really wrong with himself.

  • Defendant: I am not a bad person. Reality: Yes, you ARE a bad person. The question is can you face reality, understand what you are and find the strength to NOT be a bad person. If you can’t admit your reality, then you can’t change it and that does not bode well for your future or the future of the community.

  • its just sad that it takes something as horrific as this, before the justice system actually does what’s right and hands down a fitting sentence to these demonic individuals. but a woman who gets into a vehicle 3 times over the legal limit and kills 2 people with absolutely no remorse, only gets 10 years with the possibility of parol ?? like wtf thats two counts of first degree murder ? what about those families who never properly got justice? they will never see their loved ones again either. so sad

  • 22:00 I think was the absolute worst. Mr Jackson gave some pure, demonic stares at the victims family. Then upon hearing his sentencing chose to fight with the Deputies. All of those actions combined should have gotten him the death penalty! Then to top it off, Jackson’s family wants to yell that they hate the family of the victim! Why, because your boy got caught?! I’m guessing they are the ones in which stereotypes are made from since they want to be the victim in every aspect of life instead of being like the uncle & standing up for what’s right! I definitely commend the uncle!

  • I have the story behind the Mathew Borges case, he wasn’t remorseful at all as it had been planned for weeks, the reason was because Matthew’s girlfriend broke up with him, and started dating the victim, Mathew had really bad anger issues so he didn’t take the news well, so Mathew killed, decapitated, and dismembered the victims corpse, and then immediately took a picture of himself and posted it online stating “they say your eyes change once you kill somebody…” before tagging his ex and asking if his eyes look different

  • these kids didnt get this way overnight, its in their upbringing, it could be from modeled behavior, it comes from their lifestyle, how they spend their time, what they eat etc, do their parents look after them properly etc., its all a factor…they don’t just turn into bad people just like that, none of this is going to go away…parents need support and parenting is a big job, throwing them in jail for life doesnt solve a thing, its only the short term answer…its all so sad for all concerned

  • Unfortunately we live in at a world with no discipline. Now a days kids run houses and schools, it’s a total disaster of a society with a broken system. The law instead punish parents who are trying to discipline theirs kids, discipline is what they need, to know right from wrong. Well this is are the results, with exception of those who killed without remorse, they sound more like psychopath personality.

  • You know I just wanted to point out that these criminals aren’t sorry or remorse for killing their victims. They are only sorry because they know for a fact that they’re lives are over and they are going to spend the rest of their lives in prison. And not only that they are also asking for pity as well. So they aren’t sorry

  • Interesting how so many of those kids break down when realising they will really spend the rest of their lifes in prison, apparently understanding all too well that their lifes are destroyed… but never were as considerate and empathetic when it came to their victims. Being a gang member and thinking you need to duke it out with that rival gang? That is one thing and might even be understandable to some extent. But giving a crap that your target stands in a group of completely uninvolved and innocent bystanders and opening fire? That is not only a very conscient decision, but also one that showes a complete lack of empathy and remorse. And all of a sudden he can feel all those things when it’s about him.

  • I don’t think people understand the word “innocent.” It doesn’t mean feeling sorry about what you’ve done. It means not DOING that wrong thing in the first place. So people plead “not guilty” or “innocent” if they feel sorry, even in the face of indisputable evidence proving that they were the one who did the deed.

  • I can’t say enough about how honorable the uncle was for turning in this nephew. The uncle is a truly good man. As far as the nephew who did the murder, screw him and screw his family who had harsh things to say to the victim’s family. They are just as horrible and disgusting as he is for saying cruel things to the victim’s family.

  • Age and Maturity: Adolescents are still developing mentally, emotionally, and socially. Their decision-making abilities may not be fully matured. Laws often recognize this by imposing age restrictions on various activities (e.g., driving, alcohol consumption, marriage). Legal Implications: While some legal systems treat teenagers as adults for certain offenses, others take a more nuanced approach. Judges and juries must weigh factors such as intent, capacity for rehabilitation, and societal context. Society and Influences: Society plays a significant role in shaping behavior. Movies, TV shows, and peer influence can impact a teenager’s choices. It’s crucial to consider external factors when assessing responsibility. Rehabilitation vs. Punishment: Some argue for rehabilitation over punishment, especially for young offenders. Mental health facilities can provide necessary support and guidance to help teenagers reintegrate into society. Remember that legal decisions are complex and multifaceted. While there’s no one-size-fits-all solution, thoughtful consideration of each case is essential. 😊👍

  • 11:18 I remember Nick Cruz. He was that boy that murdered a bunch of students and teachers in high school. I heard that he was autistic and mentally challenged, but he was tempted to do something like that. It was terrible! Me and my fellow employees talked about it in the breakroom while I was feeling shocked and angry about Cruz’s actions. I was hoping he would go to jail for his crimes (I am so sorry if I went too far that time, but I know the laws quite well. And I was telling the truth about legal consequences of Nick Cruz’s actions). Now that he is serving a life sentence in prison, everyone can go about their day and hope that this will blow over. And I hope for a bright future for victims’ families and friends that survived the situation. It is so sad, but I hope things get better for them.

  • People don’t just end up being evil all on their own. These people are probably cultivated and grown by you in the foster care system or they were abused by parents neighbors or maybe something else definitely part of the system but that’s why you act like you’re not part of it if they were raised incorrectly in your community, then even your community failed you should act like you don’t understand anything about it. When you probably know whole bunch of you probably have a bunch of documented information and if the parent gave it to you. The parent could be the person that has been inducing Fear or abuse to them and then claiming the child is the problem they could have generational history of either a need for psychotropic medication or cyclical abuse of one kind of the other whether it’s alcoholism drugs whatever it is, but the people in the courtroom are not helping society, or anyone else by just saying this person became this all by themselves as I don’t think that’s possible.

  • The system has failed many of these kids. Of course I am not making excuses for these kids behavior, however PEOPLE WOULD NOT BELIEVE how many parents have requested help. This population MUST HAVE INTENSE SPECIALIZED TREATMENT BY A SMALL SEKECT NUMBER IF THERAPISTS WHICH HAVE THE SKILLS TO FACILITATE. This treatment MUST TAKE PLACE IN A SPECIALIZED FACILITY not just a traditional PRTF!

  • I remember a story of a kid, about 12 or so, who was completely normal, and decided one day to grab a rifle and kill his older brother. He proceeded to go outside, killing nearly a dozen people that he saw, just having walked by, and proceed to a forest where he killed a woman jogging before moving on. The police were tracking him until a group of 3 buildings, and after clearing two the kid started shooting officers from the third. Officers were in the open and returned fire as best as they could, and the kid died of his injuries almost immediately. It truly was a most random violent act, according to investigators and people that knew him. Could be misremembering some details, as I saw the story a bit ago, but I remember him being a kid, killing his brother, and proceeding to go on a murder spree through the neighborhood on his way to the buildings where his last stand was taken, and the jogger (maybe two?) that he killed between the neighbor hood and the buildings.

  • I had mutual friends with Brandon Spencer and had mutual friends. We are from Inglewood 😔 it was gang war and constant picking and threats between the two. He was aiming at one person and life was threatened. I’m not gone say his name(the alleged victim, but he was a popular opposite gang member so i understand his fear. He lived out the shooting but he’s not here now anyway. He was sick and unfortunately passed.

  • Listen up; if you dont want to be in jail for the rest of your life… Dont commit illigal acts that are GOING to get you in jail. These kids KNOW what they were doing, they shouldn’t be crying. Yeah you got a life sentence. What did you think you were going to get? A pat on the head? A slap on your wrist?

  • The voice over kept referring to shocking behavior in court, but in one case that consisted of standing quietly and in the other case proclaiming innocence. After priming us for “shocking behavior in court” concerning the girl who lured a friend into the woods and slit her throat, we learned that she pledged guilty to a lesser offense to avoid life imprisonment without possibility of parole. What is so shocking about any of these things?
