Do Cruise Ships Have Laundry Machines?

Cruise ships offer laundry facilities for passengers to save money and maintain their clothes. Most cruise ships feature two to three self-service launderettes, with some exceptions like Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee, and Mardi Gras which do not have washers. Some cruise lines also do not have self-service laundry rooms or only have them on select ships.

Passengers can choose from various laundry options, such as small washing machines and dryers in cabins, laundry, pressing, and dry cleaning services, and valet laundry services for a fee. Some ships also provide washing machines, dryers, clothes irons, folding tables, and washers and dryers on multiple stateroom decks.

For ships without self-service laundry, some have washing facilities or laundry services that will take your laundry away for cleaning. Many cruise ships have self-service laundry facilities on each deck, including washing machines, dryers, ironing, and detergent. For safety concerns, self-service laundry facilities are not provided onboard our ships, but we do offer washing, pressing, and dry cleaning services.

Laundrettes are available on most cruise ships where passengers can wait for an available machine and then dry their clothes. Some ships may charge per load and for the use of detergent and dryer sheets. A self-service launderette with washing machines, tumble dryers, and ironing stations is available for passenger use between 8am and 8pm.

Full-service laundry and dry-cleaning services are available on many cruise ships, but some ships do not have these facilities. Valet laundry service is available on select ships like Carnival Firenze, Carnival Luminosa, and Carnival Venezia.
