Carnival Cruise Line prohibits the carrying of hard liquor, beer, or plasticglass bottled beverages on board, except for those aged 21 and older. Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed onboard with a 12-pack of canned or bottled non-alcoholic beverages and one unopened 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne. However, guests are not allowed to bring alcohol, except at the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day.
Guests who have purchased liquids, aerosols, or gel items such as alcohol, perfume, or cosmetics should pack them into their checked baggage. Alcohol, perfume, and cosmetics must be packed in their checked baggage. Carnival also prohibits weapons, illegal drugs, and certain items that could interfere with the safe operation of its ships or compromise safety.
Guests without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for any issues with liquids on cruises. If flying to meet the ship, guests should pack larger containers in their carry-on bags.
There are no restrictions on liquids on cruises, but guests can bring their own shampoo, soaps, mouthwash, lens cleaning solution, cosmetics, fragrances, and skincare items for up to 25% off retail prices. The Fun Shops™ offer discounted retail prices for cosmetics, fragrances, and skincare items.
Carnival Cruise Line does allow guests to bring two bottles of wine or champagne, but not liquor or other liquor. It is important to be aware of prohibited items and consider packing accordingly for a safe and enjoyable cruise experience.
