Can Babies Cruise On Royal Caribbean?

Royal Caribbean offers a Royal Babies and Tots Nursery for children aged 6 to 36 months old, which is not available on all ships yet. As of July 1st, prices now include all passengers who book a ship with a nursery. Most Royal Caribbean ships now have a nursery, and infants must be at least 6 months old on the sailing date for most voyages. For transatlantic, transpacific, Hawaii, select South American, and other selected cruises, the infant must be at least 12 months old as of the first day of the cruise.

The Royal Babies and Tots nursery is the highlight of things for your child under three years old to do on the cruise, allowing mom and dad a chance to take a break from watching kids while they enjoy the cruise. Royal Caribbean warmly welcomes babies and toddlers aboard their ships, and you can include your child’s age when buying tickets on the site. However, if a cruise has more than 3 SEA days in a row, a baby must be 12 months old.

For cruises with 3 or more days consecutive at sea, infants are charged a cruise fare, just like everyone else onboard. For the purposes of this policy, any cruise that has 3 or more days consecutive at sea will require infants to be 12 months old on the first day of the cruise.

For parents who want to enjoy a couple of hours off or perhaps a romantic dinner, the Camp at Sea program also offers afternoon and slumber parties at different hours of the day. During these parties, kids will eat a meal and enjoy activities while being supervised by our youth staff, so you can rest easy that they are being taken care of while you get to enjoy some alone time.
