Are There Senior Discounts At The Ymca?

The YMCA offers senior discounts on memberships and benefits, including access to fitness options and community events through Medicare benefits. The YMCA partners with select insurance providers to provide discounts and free services. Many YMCAs also offer discounted rates or scholarships for seniors based on their income level or other qualifying factors.

Senior members aged 65 and up receive all the perks of an adult membership at a lower cost. These discounts are applied automatically at check-in. The YMCA Club now has over 900 members over the age of 60, with the Older Adults program providing an ideal space to improve wellbeing and forge meaningful friendships.

On average, seniors can expect to pay $25 to $60 per month for a YMCA senior membership. Some branches offer discounts for students, seniors, military members, and their families, while others provide corporate membership discounts. The YMCA is proud to offer SilverSneakers, Silver and Fit, and Renew Active programs, which may allow waivers of membership fees.

Older adults can take advantage of membership options and exercise programs designed for them while benefiting from social events. Membership dues for single adults and families range from $95 to $54 per month. Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, and AARP members can receive special information about their Y membership.

Senior citizens (62+) receive a 10 incentive for senior discounts. The YMCA offers a Senior Membership option at all Greenville branches and through some insurance providers such as SilverSneakers and Silver and Fit.
