Are There Laundry Facilities On Princess Cruise Ships?

Princess Cruises offers two main laundry services on all of its ships: professional cleaning services and self-service launderettes. These laundry rooms have a washer, dryer, and detergent. Laundry facilities on cruise ships offer a range of options, with some lines like Carnival, Disney, and Princess having self-service laundry, while others like Celebrity have laundry, pressing, and dry cleaning services. Some cruise lines have self-service washing facilities or laundry services that will take your laundry away to be cleaned.

On most vessels, there are washers and dryers available on multiple stateroom decks for guests to use. For ships that don’t have self-service laundry, Princess Cruises offers both self-service laundry rooms and wash and press paid services. The self-service laundry is 3 for a washer and a dryer, and guests can pay with their Ocean Medallion.

Princess and Disney have laundry rooms on all vessels, and Carnival offers them for guests on all but their newest ships. Ultra-premium and luxury cruise lines almost always have self-service launderettes, where washers, dryers, and laundry products are available for a negligible charge. Passengers staying in full suites receive complimentary laundry. Full laundry and dry cleaning services are available with prices detailed onboard, but there is no self-service launderette.
