On Wednesday, Kroger announced that customers aged 55 and older can receive a five-percent discount every Tuesday when they present their Kroger Plus Card. This discount is applicable to groceries and certain health products. Kroger also occasionally runs one-day-only Kroger Senior Discount Days, with discounts ranging from 5 off to 10 off for shoppers aged 55 or older.
While many major retailers, including Kroger and Walmart, have discontinued senior discount days, there are still several grocery stores that offer savings for seniors. Kroger’s Columbus Division, which operates 118 stores in Ohio, recently gave a one-day-only discount.
