Are Meals Included On American Cruise Lines?

American Cruise Lines offers an all-inclusive package that includes all shipboard meals, entertainment, tips and gratuities, alcohol, and other port charges and fees. Many shore excursions are also included in the cost of the cruise. The fine dining experience is provided to guests, with meals prepared to order and served in the restaurant, providing a panoramic view of the passing scenery. Open seating dining allows for an informal, resort casual atmosphere on American Cruise Lines intimate ships.

Food is free of charge in cruise ship main dining rooms, buffets, and select specialty venues like Princess International Cafe and Carnival’s Blue Iguana. However, food is not always included on a cruise, but it can be enjoyed at two types of restaurants on board: the Dining Salon restaurant and the Dining Salon restaurant. American Cruise Lines offers regional customized menus, allowing passengers to enjoy included food without paying extra.

The cuisine onboard is simple but elegant, including complimentary beer and wine with lunch and dinner. A complimentary cocktail hour with a full bar is hosted. Meals are served in the ship’s dining room, and room service is available for breakfast only. The per person fare includes passage, dining service, snacks, complimentary cocktail parties, and entertainment or events aboard the ship. Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m., and dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Food and drink (wine, beer, sodas, coffee, tea at meals) are complimentary, and their cost is included in your passage.

My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.
