What did Captain Glenn think of Jenna?
Captain Glenn also said during the Reddit AMA that Jenna “has a lot of good qualities as a chief stew,” but he also noted that it probably wasn’t the best idea to get involved in a relationship during the charter season. “I think the situation with Adam (Glick) – they would have been better postponing getting involved until the season was done,” he said. “If I can see everything happening between Adam and Jenna in real time, I would probably tell them to tone it down and focus more on work than their personal lives.”
But even after seeing the ups and downs of Jenna and Adam’s romance unfold while watching last season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Captain Glenn still only has a lot of love for his former crew members.
“My opinion of them as people didn’t change. I think they need to work on their interpersonal skills or interacting as a couple. I think they’re great people – I love them both,” he said. “I think they struggled under pressure. They were using their comments about the other crew as a method to bond. They probably regret it, but it doesn’t change my opinion of them. I’m pretty sure Adam is out of the industry.”
What sailboat is named Georgia?
GEORGIA is the ultimate family world cruiser. The world’s largest sloop at the time of her launch, GEORGIA was the trailblazer for a new generation of sailing yachts.
Designed for global sailing with a minimal crew, safety and cohesive design were critical to the success of the project. In addition to captive sailing winches hidden below deck, centerboard draft and excellent storage, interior design priorities included four generous guest staterooms, a full-beam Owner’s suite with adjacent gym, large windows in the main saloon and a large hot tub on the upper deck.
With her 59m carbon mast and eye-catching burgundy-red hull, GEORGIA won the Showboats award as the most innovative sailing yacht as well as the best sailing yacht over 38 meters.
Is the Das Boot series a true story?
The most famous submarine warfare fiction, Das Boot, was inspired by the U-96, one of Hitler’s most fearsome U-boats, of which the true story set on the coasts of France is so exceptional that it goes beyond fiction. This documentary highlights the unexpected Franco-German relations, and casts a new light on this cult film by Wolfgang Petersen, revealing to what extent the latter is (in)directly influenced by German propaganda.
What was the name of JFK’s sailboat?
VICTURA VICTURA: THE KENNEDY SAILBOAT.
AMY MACDONALD: Good afternoon. I’m Amy Macdonald, the Forum Producer at the Library, and I welcome all of you here on this May Sunday. First, let me acknowledge the underwriters of the Kennedy Library Forums: lead sponsor Bank of America, Raytheon, Boston Capital, the Lowell Institute, the Boston Foundation; and our media partners, the Boston Globe, Xfinity and WBUR.
The photos and film clips of Kennedy family sailing Nantucket Sound are so familiar that Kennedys and sailing are almost synonymous in our minds. Of course, the family had many sailboats, but the Victura was their favorite, and it’s almost a miracle that it has survived. Acquired by the family in 1932, it was struck by lightning in 1936, endured a hurricane in 1944, and barely escaped a harbor fire in 2003. It is now safely ensconced at the John F. Kennedy Library Museum from May to November, and at the Crosby Yacht Yard during New England’s long winters.
At the conclusion of this Forum, our author, Jim Graham, would be happy to have a show-and-tell outside by the boat. Hopefully, we won’t have that shower they’re predicting. His book, Victura, is on sale in our Museum store and after our outside excursion, Jim will be happy to sign books.
Who owns sailing yacht?
Sailing Yacht A was delivered by Nobiskrug on 3 February 2017, and left Kiel on 5 February 2017. It exited the Baltic Sea in light mode on near-empty fuel tanks in order to clear the Drogden Strait with minimum draught. It underwent final sea trials and the final fit-out at the Navantia shipyard in Cartagena, Spain. Boat International called it “the boundary pushing superyacht”. The yacht is owned by Melnichenko through Valla Yachts Ltd. of Bermuda, and was initially registered there at Hamilton. In December 2021 the yacht was moved to the Isle of Man flag and registered at Douglas.
The yacht was seized by the Italian Guardia di Finanza on 12 March 2022 in the port of Trieste, due to the EU’s sanctions imposed on a number of Russian businessmen as a consequence of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A spokesperson for Melnichenko vowed to contest the seizure. While under seizure, the yacht was re-registered in June 2022 at Freetown, under the Sierra Leone flag. As of June 2024, the yacht was at an anchorage in the Gulf of Trieste.

Are Georgia and Madison still friends?
However, Georgia’s feelings on where she and Madison go from here are a bit more complicated. “I can’t explain myself and say sorry to Madison for not chiming in more with going at Jenna. Madison and I are really, really close. I don’t think we’ll ever be able to unravel how tight-knit we are,” Georgia said.”I’m sure she would much rather me be protective and really aggressive about this stuff, but I can’t fight anyone’s fights. I’m kind of tired of everyone being upset at me. Sometimes the easiest thing to do is to let people cool off because I can’t keep taking it from everywhere.”
Georgia noted that being in the middle of Madison and Jenna’s conflict this season has been a very difficult place to be. “I don’t know, it’s very confusing to me, because I never know if someone’s going to get upset at me for saying something about the other one, and then when I try to not say anything, suddenly the silence is a problem,” she said. “So I’m confused as f k. I have no idea when to have an opinion anymore.”
Do Below Deck guests pay?
Guests really do pay for their charter.. “They spend their real money to be on the show,” executive producer Mark Cronin told Bravo TV. But since it may not be the most relaxing trip, guests that are featured on the reality show get a 50% discount on their charter.
The guests pay tips out of pocket, too.. It’s entirely up to the guests what they tip crew members. So if the crew feels slighted by a small tip, that’s all real.
The charter guest’s airfare is covered.. The cost is built into production’s budget, so charter guests are flown in and out courtesy of Bravo. Talk about a nice perk.

📹 What Ciara Duggen Really Thought about Paget Berry Flirting with Georgia Grobler | WWHL
On the “Below Deck Sailing Yacht” reunion, Andy Cohen finds out what Ciara Duggen really thought about Paget Berry’s flirtations …
He so wanted a peace of her. He made references that were way past flirtatious banter and at the end of the season I feel he went to speak to her in the loo because he too fancied her but he remembered the camera ext. he told her ” if I’d known girls like you would find me attractive I wouldn’t have got into” he clearly meant a relationship with ciara, he also said he didn’t want ginger kids. I feel he met ciara when he was young and not many girls liked him ( he said he was bigger ext when younger) so he just stayed with her. Ciara acted so gracefully but he and gorgea were very disrespectful. I’m glad he choose to be loyal to ciara because gorgea just wanted attention and what she couldn’t have. I’m disgusted tbh
