The GMC Sierra 1500 offers Super Cruise, a semi-autonomous driver assist feature that allows drivers to remove their hands from the steering wheel during extended periods. This feature is currently only available on the latest version of General Motors’ self-driving Super Cruise, which will be coming to the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country. Super Cruise, connected by OnStar, manages speed and steering, helping drivers feel energized. The Bowtie brand improved its smallest mill for the new year, added Super Cruise to the top trim, and finally brought the off-road ZR2 moniker to the big truck lineup.
Super Cruise is the industry-first introduction of semi-autonomous driving technology on a pickup truck. It is the first true hands-free driver assistance technology for compatible roads and is now being offered on more Chevy vehicles than ever before. It pairs with the Technology Package, available on popular pickup trucks like the Chevrolet Silverado with the 6.2L V8 L87 gas engine. Super Cruise is available for select 2022, 2023, and 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 models. Currently, Super Cruise driver assistance is available on certain models, such as the 2021-present Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe, and GMC Yukon.
For the 2024 Silverado 1500, Super Cruise will be available on the High Country luxury trim. However, no trucks are being ordered with the Super Cruise option. The GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system for the 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 is once again available to order.

📹 2022 Chevy Silverado Super Cruise TOWING Review! Hands-Free for 500+ Miles
Yes, the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country can tow a trailer hands-free with Super Cruise! We borrowed one fresh off the …
well done trailer towing vids for the Chevy and Ford, jake. Tow-tech has come a long way. As helpful as all the electronic whizbangery is, Ford in particular seems to ignore one basic feature: making a foundational tow package on mid size suv’s and smallish trucks standard. They don’t have to include the brake controller or even the receiver, which can be bolted on later, but how about making the bigger radiator and trans cooler standard? Try to find a used Explorer, or a new Maverick non-hybrid, or an Acura MDX with a factory “tow package”. Without the “package” these utility vehicles turn into bloated cars with a tow rating barely adequate for towing a utility trailer carrying 25 bags of mulch. All I want to do is tow my 3000 lbs. boat/motor/trailer, and I’d like to do it with something more fuel efficient than my Ram Hemi!!!! Keep up the great content!
