Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines is the only cruise line in the world that offers FlowRider surf simulator wave machines. For over 16 years, Royal Caribbean has used FlowRider waves to introduce the sport of flowboarding to more people than any other customer. The Adventure of the Seas is a dynamic cruise that features a 40-foot-long surf simulator. Royal Caribbean has added FlowRiders to more of its ships recently, including Freedom of the Seas. On a Royal Caribbean cruise, passengers can try boogie boarding or surfing right onboard the ship. Most shops on Royal Caribbean ships have the Flowrider, and some Oasis-class vessels even have two. The FlowRider debuted on Freedom of the Seas in 2006 and has been added to every Royal Caribbean ship since. In 2006, Royal Caribbean scored the exclusive cruise ship rights and installed their first FlowRider on the Freedom of the Seas.
