Super Mario Odyssey is a massive game on the Nintendo Switch console, featuring collectibles, bosses, and secrets scattered throughout. Players can only obtain 10 power moons to move on from the Snow Kingdom, which can be obtained by unlocking and winning Shiverian races. Power moons 1-5, 7, 9, 12, and 18 are available as you complete the campaign, while moons 34-42 are only available after breaking the moon rock.
The main goal in Super Mario Odyssey is to get power moons to power up your ship, the Odyssey. To find this secret entrance, complete story objectives in the Seaside Kingdom, use water spouts to reach the giant goblet, and drop to the Moons. After completing the race, players will return to the Odyssey in sunny weather.
There are 40 outfits to purchase or find in Super Mario Odyssey, with 10 of them being scanned in by Amiibo. Nintendo has stated that all of Mario’s Amiibo outfits can also be scanned in. For Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch, a GameFAQs message board topic titled “The Snorkel costume BETTER bring back SM64 style” suggests that the Snorkel would provide better Jaxi control, longer breath under water, and protection against icy water.
For other regions, players can cycle back to the Super Mario Odyssey Power Moon locations guide.
