Feadship, a Dutch shipyard, is known for producing bespoke Dutch yachts, with a focus on custom rather than customised designs. The company, based in the Netherlands, has roots dating back to 1849 and is recognized as the world leader in the field of pure custom superyachts. Feadship hulls are created by its subsidiary yards and towed to the four yards for completion. Over the last decade, the builder has typically disclosed 8 to 10 yachts, with the latest being the 59.50-metre Project 713.
Feadship operates four shipyards in the Netherlands, including Kloninkljike (Royal in Dutch) De Vries headquartered in Aalsmeer, a satellite yard accommodating the construction of its largest vessels in Makkum, and Royal Van Lent operating from its historic Kaag Island. The company has built many of the world’s most famous yachts, including Venus, Madame Gu, Como, Lady Britt, and Go.
Originally constructed out of wood, Feadship now focuses all its attention on building entirely custom yachts from steel and aluminium. Their yacht fleet ranges from 59.50-metre Project 713 to 59.50-metre Azzam, with the largest yacht in the world being Fulk Al Salamah.
