Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas is set to embark on its inaugural cruise on January 27, 2024, departing from Miami and sailing to Perfect Day at CocoCay, St. The ship will be the first of its brand-new Icon class, marking the first new type of vessel for the cruise line in nearly a decade. The ship will feature Category 6, the largest waterpark at sea with six record-breaking slides, including the Frightening Bolt and the Pressure Drop, the first open freefall waterslide on a cruise.
The cabins on Icon of the Seas are located throughout decks 3-4, 7-14, and 16-18. This departure from the Oasis-class, Icon of the Seas is expected to change family vacations forever. Bookings for Icon of the Seas are available through April 2026, and the ship offers world-class amenities and activities, including a sunrise surf simulator lesson and late-night dancing in the nightclub.
