When Is Cruise The Gut In Battle Creek Michigan?

Cruise the Gut, a popular summer event in downtown Battle Creek, is returning on Saturday, August 14, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The cruise starts at 5pm down Michigan Avenue and will feature classic cars of all shapes, sizes, and hues. This event began in 1998 as a way to bring crowds to support downtown businesses and celebrate the days when teenagers and young adults would cruise through downtown.

The 20th annual Cruise the Gut event will take place on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 5-10 pm. Classic cars can be no newer than 1982 and will be on display down Michigan Avenue and the surrounding streets. The event is sponsored by the Battle Creek Police and has been held for years.
