You two deserve it! Awesome! The front bow rooms, one garage and one laundry. Convert that bathroom into laundry room. I am sure you know about balancing the boat, it’s pretty easy! I helped a friend by using the old saw horse and long board teeter todder system. Place items to be stored on one side and used jerry can or cans. That allowed us to make piles of stuff all being of equal weight. Please do some research as so your new boat glides balanced and efficiently. It really does make a difference. You don’t have to be super exact but at least you will know how you are really sitting in the water, to heavy in the stern will cause rolling wave wheelies, to heavy in the bow will plow during wave surfing into the next wave climb. In the Coast Guard, you see more front side flipping due to going to fast down waves and the bow digging in at the bottom…… During high winds over a passage, of course you have sails minimized, please invest in a sea anchor to deploy behind your boat. It will regulate your speed and safety, a small Sea anchor does wonders from letting a CAT get beyond 14 knots surfing.
