Hamburg and Lisbon were the leading cruise ports in Atlantic Europe based on passenger volume, while Kiel and Copenhagen led the way. Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a leading tourism destination and one of the most popular cruise ports in Europe. With 2.9 million arriving passengers (12%), Barcelona remains the largest cruise port.
