The Alaska cruise port schedule for 2024 provides information on where cruise ships will dock, including berth numbers for downtown Ketchikan and Ward Cove. Ketchikan, located in southeast Alaska, is often the first port of call for guests cruising to the Last Frontier. The port can accommodate up to four ships at a time, accommodating up to 21,00 passengers. Ketchikan has four Panamax-sized cruise ship berths, numbered sequentially from south to north along the downtown waterfront. Each berth also has an address.
The Ketchikan cruise port schedule 2024-2025-2026 includes a map, address, ship terminals, hotels, tours, and shore excursions. Ketchikan International Airport is located on Gravina Island, a five-minute ferry ride to town. Airport shuttle vans and a water taxi service meet all flights. For Norwegian cruise ships (NCL), the docking point is Ward Cove, outside of town, and requires a shuttle to get to downtown Ketchikan. The city is also home to several hotels, tours, and shore excursions. CruiseMapper provides free cruise tracking, current ship positions, and itinerary information.
