What Is Not Included On A Carnival Cruise?

Carnival Cruises offer a well-deserved vacation with a stateroom featuring the Carnival Home™ Bedding Collection, flat-screen TV, in-stateroom safe, individual climate control, full bathroom, and ample storage space. However, the standard cruise fare includes accommodation and some free food options, but most food, drinks, entertainment, and excursions come with.

When booking a Carnival cruise, it is important to know what is included and what is not included. The cruise fare includes accommodations, main meals onboard, entertainment (including production shows, guest entertainers, trivia, karaoke, dancing classes, movies, and in-stateroom videos), and alcoholic and non-alcoholic bar beverages (excluding beverages served in the Main Dining Room and Lido Restaurant). Gratuities are not included.

Most food is included in the cruise fare, along with room service, dining room meals, Lido buffet, pizzeria, deli, salad bars, ice cream and frozen yogurt machines, and room service. A bubbles package covers soft drinks and juice, while a drink package covers alcohol, soft drinks, energy drinks, and more.

Additional costs include shore excursions, crew gratuities or tips, and other activities like BOLT, the roller coaster at sea. Some onboard activities are not included, such as BOLT, which is only found on Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras. It is crucial to budget for these extras ahead of time to ensure a seamless cruise experience.
