What Is A Stateroom On A Princess Cruise?

Princess Cruises offers four different categories of staterooms: Suites, which include Penthouse Suites and Premium Suites; Mini-Suites; Balcony (including Premium Deluxe, Deluxe, and standard Balcony cabins); and Inside cabins. Adjoining staterooms are available for large families needing more than one cabin. The typical inside cabin on the new Discovery Princess measures 166 square feet, with some as big as 175 square feet.

Royal Princess staterooms offer updated features and subtle changes inspired by passengers’ suggestions. Photos, floor plan diagrams, and amenities represent typical arrangements and may vary by ship. Certain stateroom categories may vary in size and configuration by ship.

For the first time on a Princess ship, suite passengers have access to a dedicated concierge lounge, an exclusive area to relax or work, with access to full front. Princess Cruises family- and mini-suites provide additional space and indulgence.

Accessible staterooms range from 159 square feet to 298 square feet, offering a five-foot turning radius in sleeping areas, plus bathrooms and sitting areas. The Cabana stateroom features a balcony, a private cabana, unique outdoor furniture, and an extra-large private lounge space that allows guests to take in the fresh sea.

My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.
