The Snorkel Parka, also known as the N-3B parka, was developed in the 1950s for use by Air Force flight crews stationed in extremely cold static areas. This parka, a staple of Inuit clothing, is made from caribou or seal and has a hood that can be zipped up, leaving only a small tunnel for the wearer to look out of. This feature is particularly effective in cold, windy weather, but it also limits the field of vision and hearing.
The parka was made by Albert Turner Co, a well-known producer of military clothing and one of the known producers of surplus items. It is made from 100% poly twill with a touch of mechanical stretch, ensuring unrestricted movement. The adjustable neck drawcord provides a custom fit, and the parka was launched commercially in 1973. The civilian version of the parka was made in various colors, including navy blue and green.
The N3B parka is made in the U.S.A. and features a fixed hood made of coyotte fur and cowhide leather pieces at the wrist and pockets. It is designed for warmth and rugged durability, and is built to protect while completing outdoor tasks. Other popular American parkas include the WACOOL Professional Snorkeling Snorkel Diving Scuba Package Set with Anti-Fog, which is made for endurance in the harshest cold weather.

My sister sent this Link to me, for which I had high hopes, since the arctic parka looks Great. However the Demo dude, was ill prepared. First of all he was not wearing his backpack correctly which would have freed both hands to hold on to trees as he slips and slides along. Then, he began to whine which is always difficult to hear, especially from a grown man, though in his case immature. I could barely stand seeing any more, but luckily it is a short article, then he “discovered” civilization finally. I WILL NOT endure another Demo from this Dude; Life is Short.
