SiriusXM’s Yacht Rock Radio has been launched on satellite channel 17 for the 2024 summer season, featuring artists like Michael McDonald, Christopher Cross, and Steely Dan. The channel is available on SiriusXM from Memorial Day through Labor Day, providing fans with easy listening to smooth-sailing hits from the late 70s and early 80s.

Yacht Rock continues to be celebrated for its timeless appeal, evoke a sense of nostalgia and relaxation. The channel was a special event channel and was always planned to be available for a limited time. However, the PD of this station wasn’t a fan of Yacht Rock Radio, so it was recently launched and phenomenal among radio people.

On July 6, Yacht Rock Radio will change ports and redock at Ch. 13 for the remainder of the season.
