What Ever Happened To Sailing Miss Lone Star?

Aubrey Wilson, a photographer and creative director, has been working on her dream of sailing since 2016. She received her captain’s license in 2016, supported by Rick More of Sophisticated Lady. Aubrey is currently working on SV Private Ship, a 1977 Formosa 51 Ketch, with a support team of people and animals. In 2020, Aubrey purchased a 1977 Formosa 51 and set sail in 2022 from Puget Sound, Washington to Mexico and beyond.

Aubrey’s journey began with a boat she bought for $1 and refitted herself. They now own three sailboats, ranging from land to sea. Aubrey’s journey began with her 8-year-old son, Rob, who was a history buff and loved researching the history of the Spanish Galleons. They became scuba certified and started studying weather patterns. They sold almost everything they owned and packed into a tiny 2003 Cruisers Yacht, setting out to sea with zero experience.

Sailing Miss Lone Star is a daily show that aims to inspire, make people laugh, and encourage them to do great things. The show features a variety of adventures, from sailing with a monkey in Africa to swimming with great white sharks. Aubrey’s secret daily vlog (Sailing Miss Lone Star) is available on VIMEO and is committed to bringing this daily show from anywhere in the world.

In addition to her work on SV Private Ship, Aubrey has also been involved in other projects, such as sailing with a monkey in Africa and swimming with great white sharks. Her goal is to bring inspiring films that inspire and motivate others to do great things.

I am a school teacher who was bitten by the travel bug many decades ago. My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.
