I am a school teacher who was bitten by the travel bug many decades ago. My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.

  • Thanks for your rankings on all the cruise lines. These rankings for 2 adults are different than when I always cruise with my family of four with my kids being 2 teen daughters. We have sailed on Carnival prefer Vista class and XL class in Family Harbor Suites (Nobody has more complimentary included places to eat than Carnival) for the week cruise with drink packages Kids are Gold we are Platinum, MSC voyager matched Program to Carnival and sailed Aurea balcony and Yacht Club with Entertainment pack prepaid and 3 specialty dining for Aurea experience(one of the best cruises ever) in Yacht Club, 2 Royal cruises and one of the best on-ship to do activities while cruising and best private island to-do activities in cruising balcony and royal suites experiences only little more pricey than Carnival for suites and royal experience, 1 Disney cruise and we enjoyed the cruise but my girls did not like the Disney experience as much as we thought they would and they prefer Royal, Carnival, MSC activities way more than Disney(maybe their ages 12,13 and we are Annual Disney Passholders), Been on One NCL cruise was overpriced and every area for kids and on board activities was being nickeled and dimed the whole cruise…Had great food but the whole experience felt like being at a county fair always expecting to pay more around the corner. Overall though sailing in atleast a Balconey, Suite or higher our cruising experiences have been GREAT and NEVER have we had a bad experience. We prefer Carnival or Royal for our family cruising for vacations because their onboard activities for our teens allows us adults also to have a great time.
