Princess Cruises has announced its biggest-ever Alaska season for 2026, featuring the debut of viewing experiences on every cruise. Crown Princess® will sail 11-day Inside Passage cruises out of San Francisco, while Ruby Princess® will sail 7-day Inside Passage cruises. The company also announced new piers in Juneau and improvements in Skagway. Norwegian Cruise Line is ranked as the best overall cruise line, while Royal Caribbean is ranked as the best for families. Princess is ranked as the best value cruise line, and Oceania is rated as the best luxury cruise line.

Guests can choose from 180 departures from five convenient ports aboard eight incredible ships, including the new Enter Ocean Victory. Explora Journeys has announced its first season in Alaska with Explora I offering three distinct itineraries for 2024 sailings. Lindblad Expeditions National Geographic Sea Lion will be the first ship of 2024 to depart Vancouver on April 17, 2024. Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas are the next-biggest ships in the Alaska market, each measuring 168,666 square meters. Silversea brings one of its newest ships, Silver Nova, to Alaska for a luxurious experience.

The cruises sailing between May and September 2025 offer a variety of 7-night vacations starting from Seattle, Vancouver, and Seward. Holland and Princess have been cruising Alaska for years, but the discrepancy is odd considering they are both owned by the carnival corporation.
