  • Sorry for you. Always, do Google search before booking flights or call Airlines or the Embassy. Keep in mind about 5 eye countries friendship. Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK and USA. To travel to any of those 5 eye countries you need a visa. But if you have a visa, for eg: if you traveling to the UK and holding a valid Canada visa and same-day connecting flight or before midnight departure. Not only do you stay Airside but you can pass immigration without a visa in the UK. Sounds good is it What if you have a next-day flight or within 48 hours, even if you hold a visa from one of those 5 countries can’t transit. Apply visitor in Transit visa

  • Honestly, this is clearly mentioned on the UK immigration website under visas and immigration – ” you may need a visa if you’re ‘transiting’ or travelling through the UK, for example, if you are changing flights at a UK airport.” Then, they ask you to check on the link if you’re required a visa or not.
