  • Brava Kirsten, having lived in Italy and visited often. I agree, you don’t have to do the big 3 to enjoy Italy. Actually, getting outside the tourist zones makes your Italian visit so much richer. Comacchio was new one for me. I’ve been to Ferrara and Ravenna when living in Padova. But totally missed Comacchio. Basically all of the Adriatic (minus Venice) is under touristed. I like Le Marche for a pure central italian experience.
