In this video, the author demonstrates how to set up a toolbar in the updated Firestorm viewer for ease of access and add a landmark to your top favorites bar. To add a landmark to your favorites, drag it from the landmark list to the favorites bar. To remove an item, look in your landmarks folder, not the one in the Favorites folder.
To create a landmark in Firestorm Viewer for Second Life, drag it from the landmark list to the favorites bar. Rename it to a short name that fits on a button. If this doesn’t work, take them all out of the Favorites folder in Landmarks and stashed them in an inventory folder. To access, manage, and clear your teleport history in Second Life, explore the graphics settings and preferences in Firestorm Viewer. To delete landmarks from your inventory, open your inventory, right-click a landmark in your inventory and select About Landmark.
Editing landmarks in your directory in Firestorm appears to edit those that appear in the World Map landmark list. To change the drawing function, open drawingutils.py, go to drawlandmarks(), and at the beginning of the for loop, place the Landmark to be given away in “Contents”. Double-click on its name in “Contents” and look for “REPLACE YOUR MESSAGEā¦”.
