The Bradenton Area River Regatta, Manatee County’s largest and largest civic event, returns for its seventh annual event on February 16, 2024. The event begins with a Sky Elements Drone Light and Fireworks show on Friday, February 16, followed by an all-day slate of powerboat racing and world-class entertainment on Saturday, February 17. The event is expected to attract around 100,000 people this year, following its cancellation last year due to Covid-19.
The event will be held at the Bradenton Riverwalk, the primary spectator area for the event. The city leaders expect about 100,000 people to attend this year. The 2022 event is scheduled for Saturday, and the 2023 event is scheduled for February 11.
Meanwhile, the 2024 Bradenton Area River Regatta promises to be filled with aquatic excitement. The event begins on Friday, February 16, with the Sky Elements Drone Light and Fireworks show, followed by an all-day slate of powerboat racing. The event is part of the free ninth annual Bradenton Area River Regatta that starts Friday.
The LECOM 5K Run and Walk will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday in Bradenton, and the annual DeSoto Little Anglers event will take place at 8 a.m. The River Regatta is a free event featuring activities on and along the Manatee River in Palmetto and Bradenton, beginning at 10 a.m.
