Is Pride Of America Sailing Now?

Pride of America, the only large mainstream ship to sail Hawaii intensive cruises, is now sailing again. The vessel is currently in the North Pacific Ocean and is en route to Hilo, United States (USA), sailing at a speed of 9.1 knots. As the only U.S. flagged cruise ship, Pride of America sails year-round from Honolulu, providing passengers with the freedom and flexibility to vacation on their schedule. The cruise will visit four Hawaiian Islands and five ports in seven days.

Pride of America is the second NCL America brand ship to sail Hawaiian itineraries under the U.S. flag, featuring decor that reflects the cultural diversity and history of the United States. The ship was commissioned in 2005 and underwent a massive, multimillion-dollar enhancement project during a monthlong dry dock in spring 2016. The current cruise is a 7-day round-trip Hawaii Inter-island itinerary starting on 27 July 2024 and ending on 03 August 2024.

The Pride of America is a passenger ship with a length overall of 280.59 meters and width of 32.21 meters. As the only U.S.-flagged ship that sails around Hawaii, Pride of America has a unique itinerary that includes only Hawaii, with no out-and-back trips. The current sailing of Norwegian Cruise Lines Pride of America is experiencing significant changes due to what the cruise line called a technical issue.
