Is Disney Yacht Club Scooter Friendly Hallway?

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort at Walt Disney World is a picturesque Deluxe resort located on Crescent Lake, evoking images of New England seaside splendor. The resort is situated within walking distance to Epcot and the Boardwalk, offering great dining options for older guests. However, some guest rooms will be under refurbishment from January through May 2025, causing construction work during daytime.

Rooms close to elevators have plugs in the hallway for scooters, ensuring clutter-free accommodations. The resort also has a small alcove in the hall where guests can plug in their mom’s scooter at night. The resort does not have a handicap accessible area, but it is a great choice for older kids who enjoy walking distance to Epcot and the Boardwalk.

Friendship boats are accessible for guests in wheelchairs and ECVs, but are limited to taking two per boat. The feature pool is wheelchair accessible due to its zero entry design, allowing guests to experience the sandy-bottomed main pool. The lounge is marked by a small sign in the hallway, and there is a long hallway leading to the actual beds.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort offers all internal hallways, elevators, and rooms available to guests with accessibility requirements, including a couch. Overall, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort offers a unique experience for those looking to explore the wonders of Disney World.
