How To Fix Damaged Component Frigate No Mans Sky?

In No Man’s Sky, frigates can be damaged, and they can be found near your freighter. They have a red ship icon on them, and you can find a landing pad on the frigate. After a short conversation, you can tell the frigate captain to mark the damaged components. You can then walk around on the frigate to the components marked with a red icon and fix them.

To repair damaged frigates, you need specific resources, such as crafting materials and a stash of crafting materials. Look for the support frigates themselves, not the main freighter. Land on the support frigates and go around to various damaged components marked with a red icon. If you don’t see the marked broken component right when you hop out of your starship, walk around to each possible component terminal.

To repair the frigate, the owner must fly over in their spaceship and land on one of the frigates’ landing pads. The frigates captain contacts the player and marks the damaged components. Players will need to land on the frigate and walk to each damaged component in order to repair it. Damaged components will have a distinctive sound, so follow the clanging to find whatever is broken on your frigate.

If you don’t get the bug fixed, first repair all systems that have issues until you have the ghost damaged one. You can land on the support frigates and go around to various damaged components marked with a red icon and repair them with various materials.

In the PlayerStateData, scroll down to FleetFrigates for each damaged frigate (numbered from 0 to the no). Use the Manage Frigates control panel to examine the damaged frigate, which will show an image of that frigate against the enemy. A frigate subsystem is critically damaged, and further damage will lead to the ship’s destruction.
