How To Dive Deeper When Snorkeling?

Snorkeling is a magical activity that allows you to venture into the depths of the ocean, and it is essential to learn proper techniques to dive deeper underwater while snorkeling. Breathing holding and duck diving are two techniques that can help you feel more confident in both shallow and deeper water.

To dive deeper underwater while snorkeling, take a deep breath through your snorkel while still on the surface. Once your lungs fill with air, hold your breath while swimming on your belly with the snorkel in mouth. Stretch your arms out in front, bend yourself in half at the waist so that your head submerges. Lift your feet above your head and straighten your legs so that you descend vertically head first.

To practice proper breathing techniques, such as exhaling completely before diving and inhaling slowly and deeply, practice in shallow water to get used to the area and your equipment. For deep diving, raise your head so you are looking up as you ascend and don’t bonk your head on anything. When blowing air into the water, you should hold your breath, so there is no possibility of nitrogen.

When diving deeper, be familiar with the area and your equipment, practice in shallow water to get used to the area and your equipment, and try to practice proper breathing techniques. For efficient diving, bend 90 degrees in your hips, put your torso perpendicular to the bottom, and raise your legs until they are pointing. If you want to dive deeper, simply hold your breath, so you are not breathing pressurized air, so there is no possibility of nitrogen.
