How To Add Drink Package To Msc Cruise?

MSC Cruises offers all-inclusive beverage packages for cruises from Winter 2023-24 to Summer 2025. These packages can be purchased before the cruise, providing up to 15% discount compared to onboard prices. MSC Cruises offers five drink packages, including frozen and classic cocktails, fresh fruit cocktails, protein shakes, well spirits, liqueurs, and cordials. The Easy Package, which includes drinks on a limited menu, is available for 46-day cruises, while the Easy Plus Package, which is 61-day for cruises 7-nights or longer, and 64-day for cruises 6-nights, covers house wines, draft beer, soft drinks, and mineral water at the buffet and in the main restaurant during lunch and dinner.

Guests can pre-purchase their drinks package as part of their booking with Iglu Cruise or log into the MSC for Me app. Onboard upgrades add an additional 15% service charge, and upgrades can be made before the cruise through the app. The cheapest options for adult cruises are 322 per adult. Can you share a drink package on MSC?

Beverage packages are not transferrable and may not be shared with other guests. Valid for one beverage only per order. Violation of these terms may result in cancellation of a guest’s package without eligibility for a refund or credit of any kind.

Availability of Drink packages and prices may vary per sailing. Packages are sold on a per cruise basis and not a per day or any other basis. Pricing applies to each day of the cruise, except for disembarkation day. Once activated on board, packages cannot be terminated or refunded. Packages must be booked by all guests occupying the same cabin, and who are traveling together and wishing to dine at the same table. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked. Packages are not obligatory for infants under three years of age.

The following exclusions apply; tobacco, souvenir glasses, ice cream menu, retail items, minibar, room service, promotions, and signature venues, including Venchi 1878 establishments, Lavazza Coffee Shops, Jean Philippe Chocolate, Coffee, Crepes & Gelato, regardless of beverage price.

Does MSC have unlimited drinks?

Easy Package. The Easy Package lets you sample a little of everything. For beer, you’ll enjoy Heineken draft (and, on Caribbean sailings only, Miller Lite bottles). You can also choose from various house wines by the glass, or a selection of spirits and cocktails. For non-alcoholic fare, you can treat yourself to unlimited soft drinks, both hot and cold. These drinks can be ordered at any bar, onboard buffet or restaurant, excluding specialty restaurants. For the kids, this package also includes unlimited energy drinks, juices, bottled water and even soft ice cream!

Premium Package. The Premium Package allots you all the perks from the Easy Package with a wider selection of bottled and draught beers, wines by the glass and top-shelf liquors. The maximum per drink price for this package is $12 – upgraded from $6 – and you are welcome to order drinks anywhere, including the specialty restaurants.

Premium Plus Package. Premium Plus upgrades you to an exhaustive list of the finest premium cocktails, liquors and wines. With this plan you can also order champagne by the glass or mixed into cocktails. Additional perks include full mini-bar access, drinks and food from room service, specialty beverages from theme bar menus and a 30% discount on bottles of wine and champagne.

Can I upgrade my drinks package on MSC Cruises?

Yes, this option is available to all our guests. In pre-cruise sales, the upgrades are available only for the guests with the package included in their cruise promotion, furthermore at discounted price. On board, all upgrade options are open for all guests at full price.

– MSC Grand Voyages On Grand Voyages cruises the packages are not included per default but may vary according to your travel agency offer/promotion.

Is it worth buying a drinks package on a cruise?

Bottom line. Buying a drink package on a cruise ship instead of paying for drinks individually can be a good way to save when cruising. But they aren’t for everyone. Drink packages generally make sense only for cruisers who typically order large numbers of drinks every day or particularly expensive drinks such as premium cocktails. For cruisers who only have one or two or three drinks a day, or order low-cost drinks such as beers, a cruise drink package generally doesn’t make sense.

Is it cheaper to buy a drinks package on board?

Some rumors have circulated that onboard-purchased drinks packages will save you money, but that is almost always not the case. According to Cruise Critic member pete14, “The only price reductions for a drinks package that I have seen are a special offer for buying the package in advance. Whether even the advance discounted price is good value is debatable and dependent on how many drinks you intend to buy.”

The best time to buy a drinks package, if you believe you need one, is almost always prior to your sailing. The pros tend to outweigh the cons for this option. This doesn’t mean that purchasing your drinks package onboard is a particular bad idea, though. For some cruisers, it’s more ideal to “see how they feel” once they’re on the ship or potentially save money by not purchasing it for the first or second day.

How much is an MSC drink package?

Easy Package: $46/day, includes drinks on a limited menu. On cruises less than 6-nights, the package is $49/night. Easy Plus Package: $61/day for cruises 7-nights or longer and $64 for cruises 6-nights or fewer, includes drinks up to $10. Premium Extra Package: $85/day, includes drinks up to $16.

Alcoholic drink packages are an extremely common add-on to purchase for an MSC cruise. Being able to enjoy an unlimited amount of tropical beverages while onboard is well worth the cost for many passengers. The cost of a drink package, however, can add up to over $500 for a weeklong sailing.

Even though I’ve been on nearly two dozen cruises, I’ve always been hesitant to purchase a cruise line’s drink package. While I enjoy drinking a cocktail or two each day, I never thought I would be able to “break even” on the cost of a drink package.

Yet, while booking my most recent cruise, a 7-night sailing on MSC Seaside, I noticed a stellar deal on an MSC drink package.

Can you buy drinks on a cruise without a package?

Yes. All major cruise lines will let you buy drinks on an a la carte basis when cruising. You don’t need a drink package to be able to drink alcoholic beverages or any other type of beverage on a ship.

Can you share a drink package on a cruise ship?. In many cases, no. Several of the biggest cruise lines, including Carnival, Holland America and MSC Cruises, have a rule that if one adult in a cabin orders a drink package, all adults in the cabin must order the package. This is to prevent two or more people in a cabin from sharing a single drink package.

What happens if you get caught sharing drinks on a cruise?

If you’re caught sharing drinks with someone who doesn’t have the same drink package as you, you risk having your entire drink package purchase cancelled without a refund.

Remember, bartenders have seen it all and you’re far from the first person to sneak drinks to someone else. Moreover, there are cameras all around the ship. So the chances of being caught is quite high.

Sneak booze onboard. There are so many videos on TikTok showing how to sneak alcohol onboard your ship as a way to save money and avoid buying a drink package completely.

Royal Caribbean prohibits you from bringing beer or liquor onboard at all. It’s one of the prohibited items not allowed.
