Princess Cruises is set to introduce the Star Princess®, the second of its next-generation cruise ships, in 2025. The ship, built in 2025 and last refurbished in 2026, will have a capacity of 4,300 passengers and 21 decks with 2,150 guest cabins. The ship is 1,133ft long and has a gross tonnage of 175,500t. It will be in service with Princess Cruises from 2025. The oldest Princess Cruises ship, Grand Princess, is 26 years old. The Star Princess is built on a platform that is unique to Princess, designed to accommodate the Princess brand. The ship was originally ordered by Sitmar Cruises as the Fair Majesty in 1988. The Star Princess is the largest British exclusively cruising ship and will be added to Princess Cruises’ fleet in the summer of 2025. Tickets for the Star Princess are now available for purchase.
