How Much Is The Shinkai Yacht?

The 55-metre Feadship explorer yacht Shinkai, named after the Japanese deep sea, is a luxury motor yacht built in the Netherlands by Feadship in 2021. It boasts a top speed of 14.5 kn and a maximum range of 5500.0 nm when navigating at cruising speed. The yacht is the eighth superyacht to be launched by Philippe Briands Vitruvius Yachts and the second designed for this owner.

Designer Philippe Briand and Vitruvius teams have developed a 55-metre explorer yacht that can travel the world while remaining self-sufficient. The yacht was launched in 2021 by Feadship, a Dutch company with roots dating back to 1849. The first Shinkai was first revealed by the yard in October 2021.

Shinkai is described as both self-sufficient and fuel-efficient, and its first adventure will be to tackle the North West. The fully custom 54m explorer yacht features a displacement steel hull with an aluminum superstructure. The yacht has a beam of 10.35 m and a draft of 2.99 m, with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.

Feadship’s full custom Shinkai features a displacement steel hull with an aluminum superstructure. The 55-metre motor yacht Shinkai, currently exploring Hawaii, can carry a Toyota Land Cruiser on board. The yacht is currently docked in Cambridge, and the 55-metre superyacht Shinkai is a testament to the innovative design and engineering capabilities of Feadship.

I am a school teacher who was bitten by the travel bug many decades ago. My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.
