How Much Is Blue Cruise Per Month?

Ford is offering its BlueCruise hands-free driver-assist feature as a monthly or annual service. Customers can purchase three years of service for 2,100, with other service contract pricing options available for Ford and Lincoln customers. The monthly subscription plan is priced at 75, while the annual plan costs 800. Customers can choose a three-year plan at the time of purchase or when a monthly payment of 607.84 (the sum of twelve monthly payments divided by 26 periods gives payee every two weeks payment of 280.54) at 2.99% LAPR for 48 is made.

All Mustang Mach-E vehicles built from 2023 are eligible for a 90-day free trial of Ford BlueCruise, worth £17.99 per month. Other service contract pricing options include 800 for a single year or 75 per month to ease the driving burden on annual cross-country road trips. There will be no minimum contract duration and it can be ordered and paid for on the FordPass phone app.

Ford owners can decide to activate the Level 2 driver-assist feature after buying their car as a 75 a month or 800 a year subscription. The monthly payment of 857 (the sum of twelve monthly payments divided by 26 periods gives payee every two weeks payment of 396) at 3.99% LAPR for 48 months.

The Ford Pass app shows the cost for keeping BlueCruise at 800year or 75month. However, the 200year (~17month) subscription seems reasonable, even if someone doesn’t see enough value in it to sign up personally.

  • Just let the truck or car age a few years. Nothing but problems with Ford driver assist sensors. They are located in the tail lights. My truck is five years old and the rear taillights got water in them. Cost to replace my side driver sensors and taillights was $5500. Ford needs to recall for this problem. I’ll never buy a Ford truck again. My truck is not even self driving and it doesn’t work right, obviously the truck in the article is not safe to drive.

  • What a cluster this update is. I just received my new 2022 F150 Limited on Oct 15, 2022. So I’m thinking I have the full Blue Cruise. I take it out on the highway and the only thing I get is the “Keep your hands on the wheel” blue cruise. So I’m thinking, OK maybe this road is not in the program. Anyway just did a trip from NC to south FL 740 miles. Same result. So I get on the Ford Pass app and start a chat. Come to find out the blue cruise “map” expired on 10-9-2022. That is actually September, not October. Ford uses European date format. You can find this by going to “settings” then “general”, scroll down to “About Sync” click on that. At the bottom of the info screen is the Blue Cruise Map expiration date. Go to the “Software Update” button and check that. Oh..guess what…Sync is up to date. No update available. So the chat person tells me that the update will have to be “pushed” down by the OTA team. So to do that you have to call them. Phone number is 833-926-3233. OK, so they try to push while I’m on the phone with them. Not working. So they give me a case number and then it is sent to the OTA technicians for completion. Person tells me it will take 3-5 days for the OTA technicians to get to my case. Not believing the 3-5 days time they said. I thought, OK I’ll call a local dealer and maybe they can get this fixed so I will have blue cruise for the trip back home. 1st place I called had no idea what I was talking about. 2nd dealer was, “Hmm…yeah…not going to happen.
