I wish you went to Mawphanlur close to Nongstoin (it’s around 70 Kms from Shillong). It’s a small village with 3 very beautiful natural lakes. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen in India. I can guarantee you will feel like staying there for an entire day and just soak in peace and calm and of course the beauty of the place. Meghalaya is indeed one of the best places to visit in India.
