Disney Cruise Line debarkation procedures require guests to disembark the ship and navigate through U.S. Customs by 9:00 am. There are several options for disembarking the ship, including Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish. The largest ships in Disney’s fleet are Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, which are 1,115 feet long and 14 decks high, and Disney Wish, which is 1,119 feet and 15 decks high.
The typical time the terminal opens at is 11:00 am, depending on your port. For Port Canaveral, all guests should leave the ship by 9:30 am on the morning of disembarkation. Disney Cruise Line offers sailings from 3-15 nights in length, with trips to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, the Mexican Riviera, and special Panama Canal sailings. Itineraries ranging from 11 to 15 nights provide ample time for onboard activities.
If sailing from Port Canaveral, ships typically return to port by 7:30 a.m. ET, and guests are free to go ashore shortly after. DCL counts by nights, not days, so a 5-night cruise would be 5 calendar days on the ship.
The newest ship to join Disney’s fleet is the 7-night Eastern and Western 3- or 4-night cruises to The Bahamas from Port Canaveral. These cruises offer sailings to destinations in the U.S., Mexico, Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean. Most voyages last from 3 to 15 days, with the cruise length varying depending on the port.

How much does a Disney cruise cost for 2 adults?
The cost of a Disney cruise can vary dramatically based on your needs and sailing preferences. However, you should expect to spend at least $1,000 on a cruise for two passengers. The price goes up from there depending on your cabin selection, trip duration and destination choices, among other options.
If you’re looking to save money on a Disney cruise, consider waiting for a sale, checking relevant discounts or redeeming points to help keep your out-of-pocket costs low. And if you like to enjoy an alcoholic beverage every once in a while, we recommend bringing your preferred drink with you on board.
Is the Disney cruise expensive?
Disney cruises are well known as an expensive option, but tacking on high-end touches such as a concierge room and spa visits will really drive up the price.

It can also be tempting to go for smaller add-ons, like specialty drinks. While some basic drinks like coffee and soda are free, fancier drinks (including alcohol) cost extra. If you’re sticking to a budget, ditch the bars — as there’s plenty of other stuff to do on a Disney cruise. Then again, treating yourself can be worth it, especially if you’re indulging in a drink at one of Disney’s one-of-a-kind cruise line bars such as the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge.
What time do you have to be off a Disney cruise?
It looks like your cruise is aboard the Disney Wish. She is a beautiful ship, especially during a Very Merrytime Cruise! When your voyage ends, it will not be easy to say farewell so let’s talk about preparing for that moment when you do.
All Guests are asked to depart their staterooms by 8:00 a.m. on debarkation day so that the Crew Members can prepare for the next sailing. If you have time, I recommend enjoying breakfast before wishing the ship bon voyage. This also allows you to say goodbye to your rotational dining team. The location and time of your breakfast correlate to your Rotational Dining schedule, and you will have breakfast in the same restaurant where you enjoyed dinner the night before. You can check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for this information.
If I have time after breakfast, I usually take a moment for a few last photos in the stunning Grand Hall lobby and make sure my onboard account is settled before debarking the ship. I know it is tempting to linger, but be mindful that the Crew has a new group of eager Guests to prepare for, so follow the recommended debarkation procedure and debark fairly quickly after breakfast, usually around 9:00 a.m. The exact time you should expect to be off the ship varies by itinerary, so keep an ear out for the actual debarkation announcements on your particular sailing.
Raphael, there is so much to see and do aboard the Disney Wish, and you will want to make the most of your time, so I encourage you to take the Walking the Wish guided tour. On this complimentary tour, you will explore the technology and storytelling behind the making of the Disney Wish. You will also get to see things that most Guests miss – like an up-close view of Rapunzel, who adorns the stern of the ship! When you board, check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to learn when the tour is offered. You will be glad you did!

- Disney Cruise Prices: What’s Included, What’s Not and What to Know
Exactly what’s included in a Disney cruise is part of what makes the higher price tag worth it, though in the end, it’s the experience and Disney magic that are the real selling point.
When you’re looking at Disney cruise prices, the base fare includes your room or suite (along with all applicable taxes and port fees), meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner, save for specialty dining), various snacks and ice cream throughout the day, soft drinks at meals and beverage stations, and onboard activities and entertainment extending to Disney character meet-and-greets, first-run and classic Disney film screenings and live Broadway-caliber stage shows.

How long is dinner on a Disney cruise?
The rotational dining rooms are some of the most beautiful spaces aboard the Disney Wonder. You’ll eat at one of three different restaurants each night of your cruise. Your servers will “rotate” with you to each restaurant. They will quickly learn your favorite drink preferences and are always delighted to share entrée suggestions.
There are two dinner times main and second seating. You can expect dinner to last about an hour. Some Guests like to eat quickly, and others like to linger over their meal. Let your server know if you want to move the meal along. They are happy to accommodate your preferences.
My favorite restaurant is Tiana’s Place. You’re in for a toe-tapping good time with Tiana and her jazz-performing friends. It’s a lively show you won’t want to miss. Try the beignets for dessert. Yum!
You’ll find your dining rotation on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship. The app will also display your table number and the suggested attire. Most of your cruise is listed as cruise casual, but Tuesday pirate attire is suggested. Some Guests go all out and wear full pirate costumes, while others wear a fun shirt or bandana. There are pirate-themed activities and even fireworks at sea. Thankfully, there’s no scrubbing the deck for you! The outstanding crew has that covered!
