How Far Is Nyc Cruise Port From Jfk?

The distance between Manhattan Cruise Terminal and New York JFK Airport (JFK) is 18 miles, with the terminal approximately 15 miles away. It takes about 30 minutes by car or taxi. During peak hours, traffic can be heavy, so it’s best to fly into New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport or LaGuardia Airport, or into New Jersey’s Newark Liberty.

The three closest airports to the terminal are JFK, La Guardia, and Newark International. JFK is about 20 miles away, La Guardia about 11 miles, and Newark International about 15 miles. Norwegian Cruise Lines offers a shuttle between New York’s LaGuardia Airport. If flying into JFK or Newark, you can take an express bus to the Port Authority bus terminal for 15 persons from JFK or 12 persons from LGA. However, you would then need to walk or get a taxi to the cruise.

New York has three different cruise ports: Manhattan Cruise Terminal, Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, and Cape Liberty Cruise Port in New Jersey. The distance between JFK and Manhattan Cruise Terminal is 18.4 miles, with the road distance being 19.3 miles. To travel from Manhattan, take the AirTrain to Jamaica, where you can get a Manhattan-bound E train. Get off at 50th Street in Manhattan.

JFK International Airport is about 26 miles away from the terminal, located southeast of the cruise terminal. Guests may purchase transfers up to two times. Taxis are easily available from all New York airports. The R & D line offers a 52 flat rate from JFK to Manhattan Cruise Terminal.
