How Far From Cruise Port To Krisitiansand?

Kristiansand cruise terminal is conveniently located just 1 km0.6 miles from the city center, making it easily accessible on foot. With a main dock just over half a mile from town, the port is one of Norway’s preferred cruise ports between Oslo and Bergen. Around 50 cruise ships visit each year, but there is usually only one in port. The journey to Lillesand takes about 45 minutes, and seniors can travel at half the standard fares.

The cruise ship dock is close to the city center and is a very walkable city. If you have a day to explore Kristiansand, I recommend taking a walking tour of the city. The brand new main dock is within walking distance of town (0.5 km), or if you have mobility issues, you can take a road-train to get there.

Kristiansand is a vibrant port located on Norway’s southern coast, known for its bustling harbor, beautiful beaches, and as a gateway to the famous West Agder museum. The driving distance between Kristiansand Port to Kristiansand Airport (KRS) is 17 km, and it takes approximately 16 minutes to drive from Kristiansand Port to the airport. The ship docks are very close to the town and are all well within walking distance. For those interested in ordering brochures, visit the bottom of the page.

I am a school teacher who was bitten by the travel bug many decades ago. My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.
